Duquesne University’s African American Read-In event

In honor of Black History Month, Duquesne University’s Michael P. Weber Learning Skills Center is hosting the 3rd, annual NCTE’s African American Read-In event to showcase and celebrate the literary works of African American authors, composers, poets, and other artists. The National African American Read-In was established in 1990, by the Black Caucus of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) to make literacy a significant part of Black History Month.
